Au nanoparticles/g-C3N4 modified biosensor for electrochemical detection of gastric cancer miRNA based on hairpin locked nucleic acids probe
Objective: The annual incidence of cancer in the world is growing rapidly. The most important factor in the cure of cancers is their early diagnosis. miRNA, as a biomarker for early detection of cancer, has attracted a lot of attention. Methods: In this study, an electrochemical biosensor was developed to detect the amount of miR-106a, the biomarker of gastric cancer, by modifying a glass...
متن کاملDesign of Biosensors Based Transition-Metal Dichalcogenide for DNA-base Detection: A First-Principles Density Functional Theory Study
The main function purpose of nanobiosensors is to sense a biologically specific material and the kind of sensing platform and doping engineering has been an emerging topic and plays an important role in monolayer molybdenum disulfide (mMoS2). In this paper, we theoretically reveal the electronic structures of mMoS2 doped by 3d transition metals. Furthermore, adsorption of nucleic acid [Adenine ...
متن کاملLabel-free visual detection of nucleic acids in biological samples with single-base mismatch detection capability.
We have combined an allosteric molecular beacon for target recognition and guanine-rich DNAzyme for signal amplification to develop a new platform for visual detection of nucleic acids with single-base mismatch detection capability. The fully DNA-structured platform can undergo color change in response to target DNA/RNA, which enables sensitive and selective visual detection in biological samples.
متن کاملDetection of a single base exchange in PCR-amplified DNA fragments using agarose gel electrophoresis containing bisbenzimide-PEG.
Using PCR fragments of known sequences derived from isolates of two related fungal species, simple submarine electrophoresis in agarose gels containing a bisbenzimide-PEG conjugate (H.A.-Yellow) has been shown to be capable of distinguishing DNA fragments 567 bp long which differ by as little as a single base change. However, only changes affecting bisbenzimide binding sites (which consist of a...
متن کاملSingle-base mismatch detection based on charge transduction through DNA.
High-throughput DNA sensors capable of detecting single-base mismatches are required for the routine screening of genetic mutations and disease. A new strategy for the electrochemical detection of single-base mismatches in DNA has been developed based upon charge transport through DNA films. Double-helical DNA films on gold surfaces have been prepared and used to detect DNA mismatches electroch...
